Now live Caddie is on the Chrome Web Store

Your read on the room, every pick

Never wing
another pick.

Caddie is a free fantasy football draft assistant that syncs live with your Yahoo, ESPN or Sleeper draft room. It simulates every pick between now and your turn, reads what your opponents are doing, and shows the odds each player survives to your next pick. Draft Vision takes it further — see who'll still be available rounds from now, all in a side panel next to the draft.

Caddie side panel showing a live Sleeper snake draft: a WR positional run alert, a QB tier-cliff warning, and ranked pick recommendations with VORP and survival percentages.

Real-time draft sync

It watches the actual draft. Not a copy of it.

Most draft cheat sheets are a static list you scroll while the board moves without you. Caddie reads your live draft room pick by pick, so every ranking, every forecast and every alert reflects the players who are genuinely still on the board this second.

Live

Sleeper

The gold standard. Caddie reads Sleeper's public draft API every 3 seconds — no scraping, no login, nothing to break.

What you get

Four tabs that win you the draft

Every screenshot below is the real extension running a real 12-team half-PPR snake draft.

Insights

The board, ranked for your next pick

Not a generic top-200 list. Caddie ranks what's left by expected value and roster fit, then tells you why in plain English — "QB tier break, the next one down is 9.9 VORP worse", "18 startable RBs left, you can wait".

  • Last? column — the live probability each player survives to your next pick.
  • Tier cliffs — a loud warning when a position is one pick from falling off a shelf.
  • Positional run alerts — 3+ of one position in 5 picks pulls that ADP forward and fires a banner.
  • VORP & projections computed from stat lines, so your scoring settings genuinely re-rank the board.
Caddie Insights tab: ranked recommendations with reasoning, plus a best-available board showing projected points, VORP, ADP and survival percentage for each player, separated into tiers.
Draft Vision

Draft Vision: five rounds of the draft, before they happen

Draft Vision projects your draft forward five rounds at a time. For every one of your upcoming picks it shows exactly who's likely to still be available and how likely, by simulating each opponent's ADP tendencies and roster needs pick by pick. You stop drafting one name at a time and start arriving at every pick already knowing the plan.

  • Round-by-round availability — the players projected to reach each future pick, each with its own survival percentage.
  • Drop-off warnings — which positions fall off a cliff before you're back on the clock.
  • Likely gone before your next pick — and which team is projected to take them.
  • Best values likely to survive — the players you can safely wait on, so you take the scarce one now.
Caddie Draft Vision tab: a round-by-round outlook listing likely available players with survival percentages across five upcoming picks, rounds 4 through 8.
Teams

Read every opponent like a book

Caddie labels each team's strategy from what they've actually done — Zero-RB, RB-heavy, Hero-RB, WR-early, Early QB/TE, Balanced — and shows the holes in their roster. When you know three teams still need a tight end, you know exactly how long you can wait.

  • Strategy labels that update every single pick.
  • Positional need bars, with urgent holes flagged in red.
  • Your roster at a glance, so you always know what you're actually building.
  • Feeds directly into the prediction engine — opponent needs shape the survival math.
Caddie Teams tab: each fantasy team labelled with a detected draft strategy such as RB-heavy, WR-early or Early QB, alongside positional need counts.
Players

The whole pool, visualised

A sortable, filterable bar view of every available player — switch the metric between VORP, projected points, ADP, auction dollars or survival percentage and instantly see where the real drop-offs are. Colour-coded by position and validated for colour-vision deficiency.

  • Filter to RB / WR / TE / QB in one click.
  • Spot value gaps that a ranked list hides.
  • Auction mode swaps in dollar values throughout.
  • Mark players drafted ✕ / mine ➕ / target ⭐ / avoid 🚫 from any row, with undo.
Caddie Players tab: a horizontal bar chart of the available player pool sorted by VORP, colour-coded by position with QB, RB, WR and TE filters.

Built for people who take this seriously

Your league's math. Not somebody else's.

Generic rankings assume a generic league. Caddie computes projections from raw stat lines, so the moment your scoring changes, the entire board re-ranks.

🧮

Import your real scoring

Pull actual settings from a Sleeper or ESPN league in one click — including private ESPN leagues. Or use the built-in editor for full custom control. TE premium, 6-point passing TDs, negative yardage: all of it counts.

📊

Blend any rankings you trust

Consensus ADP, projection-based value, live FantasyPros ECR, Boris Chen tiers, or your own CSV export. Enable several and Caddie blends them by average rank.

🕐

Freshness you can verify

Every live import shows its last-updated date and shouts at you when it's stale. No silently drafting off last season's ranks.

💰

Auction drafts too

Auction leagues get dollar values throughout — board, predictions and the player visualiser all switch over automatically. Full auction mode lands in v1.1, later this week.

Manual mode anywhere

Drafting in person, on a platform we don't sync yet, or off a whiteboard? Mark picks by hand and the full engine still runs — survival odds, predictions, opponent reads, everything.

🔒

Genuinely private

No account, no signup, no tracking, no telemetry. Everything runs locally in your browser; the only network calls are the public rankings and league data you explicitly ask it to fetch.

Next up · v1.1

Full auction mode

Auction leagues get their own surface: the live nomination with what the player is worth to you, your true max bid as the room's money drains, jump-bid math, and who to put up next. Expected later this week — it arrives as an automatic update, so installing now is all you need to do.

Questions

Everything else

Where do I get it?

Caddie is live on the Chrome Web Store — add it in one click, pin it, and you're drafting. It works in any Chromium browser with side panel support, including Chrome and Edge. Updates arrive automatically, so v1.1's full auction mode will show up on its own later this week.

Is Caddie free?

Yes — completely free, with no account, no paywalled tier and no ads. If it wins you your league, you can buy me a coffee.

Which fantasy football platforms does it work with?

Caddie syncs live with Sleeper, ESPN and Yahoo draft rooms. NFL.com and CBS support are on the roadmap. Manual mode works in any draft anywhere, including in-person drafts, and gives you the same prediction engine.

Does it work for auction drafts and keeper leagues?

Today, auction leagues get dollar values across the board, predictions and player visualiser. Version 1.1 adds full auction mode — a dedicated surface with live nomination advice, your true max bid as the room spends, jump-bid math and nomination strategy. It's expected later this week and installs itself as an automatic update. Keeper leagues already work — players kept are simply off the board, and Caddie reads the live state rather than assuming a standard draft.

Will it use my league's actual scoring settings?

Yes, and this is the part most tools get wrong. Rankings are computed from stat projections rather than hardcoded, so importing your real scoring genuinely re-ranks players. Pull settings straight from a Sleeper or ESPN league, or use the built-in editor for Yahoo and custom formats.

What is Draft Vision?

Draft Vision is the round-by-round forecast in its own tab. Instead of only telling you about your next pick, it projects the next five rounds of your draft — showing which players are likely to still be available at each of your upcoming picks, and the percentage chance each one lasts that long. It's how you decide whether to take the scarce position now or wait, because you can see what waiting actually costs you.

What is the "Last?" percentage?

It's the probability that player is still available at your next pick. Caddie models it as a logistic curve around ADP whose spread widens later in the draft — early picks are chalky, late picks are chaos — and shifts it forward for any position currently in a run.

Is this allowed? Will it get my account banned?

Caddie never drafts for you and never touches your account. It reads what's already on your screen and shows you analysis in a side panel — exactly like having rankings open on a second monitor, which every serious drafter already does.

What data does it collect?

The extension collects none. No account, no analytics, no telemetry of any kind — everything is computed locally in your browser, and the only outbound requests are to the public ranking sources and league APIs you explicitly ask it to fetch. This website is separate: it counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't fingerprint you. Full privacy policy →

Are the rankings up to date?

The bundled board ships from current FantasyPros expert-consensus rankings, and you can pull fresh ECR or Boris Chen tiers live from inside the panel on draft day. Every import surfaces its last-updated date and warns you if it's gone stale.

Does it work on mobile?

Not yet — Caddie is a Chrome extension and needs a desktop browser. If you draft on your phone, run the draft room on a laptop alongside it, or use manual mode.
